This Paul McCobb gentleman's chest for Calvin Furniture : Irwin Collection is in good original condition. The brass has tarnishing / oxidation with age (we like the original wear). The wood is in very good condition for its age and does show well. There are normal imperfections with age (dings, nicks, etc). The doors do not sit perfectly flush in the front and sit a little uneven most likely due to expanding and contracting of the wood over the years. The mirror in the vanity section has a lot of blemishes over time (hard to picture), we did not anything special on the mirror to get them out. Overall the piece is beautiful and really has held up well and was lovingly taken care of the last 60-70 years. It is a beautiful piece of McCobb in original condition.

There is a slight separation in the some of the joints (pictured) does not seem to affect the overall stability. The leather has the perfect worn patina with imperfections from use and a couple tears (pictured). Sometimes the patina adds to the character.... This is one of those cases we love these chairs.

This rare 1828-C Adrian Pearsall chaise lounge for Craft Associates Inc. is in excellent restored condition. The legs were originally black lacquer, which we stripped and were solid walnut underneath. The legs do have some sap wood and still have there original glides (1 missing). One new leg was turned as the original was too damaged to reuse (we still have the leg, and can provide with purchase if requested). This is a rare chair which we have only seen one in person. It is beautiful and extremely comfortable.

The wood also shows normal wear with age but nothing out of the ordinary for normal use. Overall we feel this set was lovingly cared for throughout its life. This line of furniture was produced for a very short period of time and is beautiful in person.
