The Dublin is an organic modern stool hand sculpted in Ohio from a solid trunk of pale maple, its corners angled into a clean, architectural form. In a deep espresso-black finish, this quick-ship stump turns a solid column of red cedar into a graphic, organic modern side table. Bertu Home hand-shapes each one in the heart of Ohio, so the bark line and the occasional natural crack read as part of the design. It works as a side table, a nightstand, a stool, or grouped with others as a modern coffee table, and it ships within days. A medium stump, roughly 13" in diameter.

These are real tree stumps, so natural movement and cracking are part of their character; no two pieces are exactly alike. Each is kiln dried and finished with a durable, commercial-grade finish tough enough for spills, kids, and hospitality settings.

Important information about our stumps

1. Please unpack your stump immediately and leave it out of any packaging — these are real pieces of wood and need to breathe.

2. Wood naturally moves. These are solid pieces and are prone to cracking; you may get more or bigger cracks in the first few weeks as the wood acclimates.

3. These stump tables have nylon glides (feet) underneath to make them easier to move and to allow airflow to the wood.
