Glory, Contemporary Street Art Painting - 1723

“Glory” is a piece of graffiti art by Addison Jones featuring her unique text previously featured in her portrait art collection. Addison previously utilized text to create texture and depth in her portraits. After realizing the impact of her text, she decided to feature them singularly in a new modern collection.

All of Addison's text in her paintings are her journal. She uses it as an artist expressions and does not read them afterwords because it is a release for her. She comes from a graphic design background and loves using text as a texture.

“I am someone that needs structure to create. The fundamental structure of the paintings have always started with a portrait. Next, I would add text to created depth. through the response of my clients, I started noticing how impactful the text was on my pieces. This evolved into this graphic, raw, style of art. When thinking about the material I wanted something modern and organic to create a nice juxtaposition.”

Condition:

This Hans Brattrud rosewood lounge chair for Hove Mobler is in very good vintage condition. The rosewood has been professionally cleaned and touched up (still has slight imperfections, dings, nicks, etc.) Some of the original screws were previously replaced. The original leather cushions do show well, however we feel they need to be replaced. There is slight oxidation on metal (pictured). Overall the chair shows very well and is not only beautiful but comfortable.

“Harmony, (Behtyie-A13)” is mixed media portrait art by Addison Jones featuring her own portrait photography. It’s produced using gold leaf and acrylic paint on stretched canvas.

"Bethyie is my muse. We met on happenstance when she wandered into my old abandoned ballroom studio. After working together a few times and creating magic she moved away. This particular image was taken on one of Bethyie's visits home. I picked her up from the airport, and as we were driving home we decided to stop in a parking lot and take some photos. Luckily, I had fabric in my car that we were able to use as a backdrop. It's funny how unplanned shoots turn out to be my favorite."

This Indoor Outdoor Industrial Buffet is made in the heart of Ohio with locally sourced wood. Each unit is handmade with solid sapele mahogany and finished with a beautiful commercial grade matte finish (grey-wash, natural, walnut, or black). The top is capped with glass and the hand-welded steel base is powder coated matte black. Our stumps all go through a drying process in our kiln, sometimes for up to a month. We are meticulous with bringing each and every log to a specific moisture level. This process helps with major cracking, long-term moisture issues, and bugs.

ECO FRIENDLY

In an effort to replenish the trees we use, we plant 50+ trees a year. In addition, we practice salvage logging. Where do we source these? Some of the trees fall naturally. Some have damage from severe wind, lightning, flood, disease, or other natural disturbance so they need to be cut and removed before they fall. Others are fresh cut because people want them off their land. Salvage logging may reduce erosion, reduce intensity of future wildfires, and slow buildup of pest insects.
