This industrial modern desk pairs a hand-welded steel base with drawers built from solid black walnut, its grain given three years of finish work to bring out. A glass top rests over the walnut surface for a clean working plane, and the base takes an automotive paint color to order. Bertu Home builds each desk in Ohio, setting an industrial frame against warm, organic modern wood.
