Each beam is hand sawed, sanded, and finished with a durable commercial-grade finish that honors the natural markings of the wood.
This is a true one-of-a-kind work of art. Expect character: the maple is prone to cracking — cracks can run up to 1/2" wide from proper kiln drying — and larger cracks are reinforced with hand-set bowtie inlays. No two tables are exactly alike. It isn't for someone who wants a perfect square; it's for someone who loves natural, sculptural, modern wood furniture.
