One of the most influential American furniture designers of the late 20th century, Milo Baughman, embodied contemporary design and adeptness in every creation. His work mainly revolved around residential furnishings. His Gallery 1 includes a variety of useful and simple contemporary pieces for the home.
Drawing inspiration from fellow Californians Charles and Ray Eames, Baughman's designs exuded a relaxed and breezy air, steering clear from ostentatious designs. His aesthetic simplicity was exceptionally profound, relying heavily on sturdy flat-bar chromed metal for seating and table frames, beautifully figured wood veneers and balanced geometric proportions.
