This early Jens Risom dining table (1949) is in very good condition. The wood has imperfections with age (dings/slight scratching) and the finish shows signs of use with age (pictured). When the table is at full length one leaf sits a little uneven (nothing too noticeable/pictured). We did oil and wax the table to help bring out the beautiful wood color. Overall the table shows very well for its age.

This Jens Risom dining table for Jens Risom Design Inc. is in restored condition. The wood has been restored, but does retain some original imperfections that were caused by serious use (scratches, dings, veneer chips). Even though the table has been restored some imperfections were too deep, which we believe adds to the character. The brass has been polished and looks beautiful. Overall the table shows very well. It has wonderful proportions.
