This Vega Side Table - Aged Finish is made in the heart of Ohio with locally sourced wood. The stump can be used for a side table, a stool (the 18" for dining seat height), or grouped together for a coffee table. Each side table is made from a solid trunk of maple and angled and sculpted into our Vega shape. Each piece is hand sawed, sanded, and sprayed with a commercial grade finish. Every part of the process is handled with care to honor the unique markings of each tree. PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE PRONE TO CRACKING. WE LOVE THE LOOK BUT THESE DEFINITELY ARE NOT FOR THE PERSON WHO WANTS A PERFECT SQUARE.... LOTS OF CHARACTER. Cracks can even be as big as 1/2" wide due to proper drying in our kiln. The idea is that most of the cracking happens before it is sprayed, shipped, and in its new home.
