The Catawba Modern Wood Nightstands are modern luxury in miniature — solid oak, hand-shaped and finished in a deep matte black, each cabinet balanced on a hand-welded metal base. Offered through The Swanky Abode, the curated destination for modern luxury design, and handcrafted by the artisans at Craft Associates®, they bring architectural weight to a bedside. A modern nightstand designed by Laura Trenchard to read as sculpture as much as storage.

Each nightstand is constructed from solid hardwood by hand rather than by machine; the oak is shaped by artisans and finished in a commercial-grade matte black, and each metal base is hand-welded to balance the strength of the oak top and bring proportion to the whole piece. All pieces are available in walnut, maple or oak, with additional exotic woods available on request.

Craft Associates® builds every piece in the United States, using the best materials and the best craftsmen in the business and standing 100% behind the result.
