The wood shows very well and we felt it didn't need complete restoration. The metal also shows normal wear with age, with most of the screws being replaced over time. This is an early version and is incredible beautiful in person.

This Jack Cartwright credenza or dresser for Founders is in excellent restored condition. It was design in 1961 and part of the "Continuing Design Program" collection for Founders. Jack Cartwright paid attention to every detail with the rosewood veneer matching across the front drawers and pewter drawer pulls. This is quite possibly the most beautiful rosewood veneer we have seen in person. Every inch of this piece has been professionally restored back to its original integrity. As the restorer wanted to keep the original rosewood, he left two very small indentations on the top. These are only noticeable when the light hits just right, and are so small you wouldn't know they existed unless told. This piece is truly a show stopper and wonderfully proportioned.
