This solid wood stump table is as at home beside a luxury bed as it is in the living room: use it as a modern side table, a nightstand, a stool, or group a few together as an organic-modern coffee table. Each piece is hand sawed, sanded, and finished, and even the bark is hand-chipped and sanded to honor the unique markings of every tree.

Choose your finish — a clean whitewashed White or a warm Natural — in three heights (15", 18", and 21"). These modern wood side tables are equally suited to indoor and outdoor spaces. Because they are real tree stumps, natural movement and cracking are part of their character; no two pieces are exactly alike and sizes may vary slightly. These are handmade from our family to yours. See how we do it here. Our stumps are now kiln dried, which helps with major cracking, moisture, and bugs. Please note: these stumps will age naturally, even more so outdoors and exposed to the elements. Each is a solid log with its own character, so we cannot guarantee the finish won't fade or discolor, as this varies by climate and log.

Important information about our stumps

1. Please unpack your stump immediately and leave it out of any packaging. These are real pieces of wood and need to breathe!

2. For outdoor stumps: though kiln dried and suitable for outdoor use, humidity levels in different climates can affect the top finish, most often in direct sunlight. Solid wood and the elements are unpredictable. The great thing about these logs is you can always sand them down and refinish.

3. Wood naturally moves. These are solid pieces and are prone to cracking. You may get more or bigger cracks in the first few weeks as the wood acclimates to its new home and climate.

4. These stump tables have nylon glides (feet) underneath to make them easier to move (they are heavy!) and to allow airflow to the wood. Airflow is most effective on hard flooring; on rugs or carpet, check the underside periodically.
