Modern Suelo® Side Chair - Turned Leg - 0421 (Thick Weave Fabric) / 3021 (Leather)

The Suelo® Side Chair with turned legs brings modern luxury to a relaxed, low-slung lounge chair — a clean solid-wood silhouette lifted on hand-turned legs, with reversible back and seat cushions for lasting comfort. Built to order from solid maple in Ohio as part of Bertu Home's Suelo® collection, it settles just as easily into an intimate indoor room, with finish of your choice and your choice of thick weave fabric or leather.

The Suelo® Collection consists of an arm chair, side chair, bench, daybed, loveseat, ottoman, dining chairs - both arm and side, and multiple orientations of sofas/sectionals for indoor or outdoor use. You can get any Suelo® piece in a solid or slatted version. This specific wood species is for indoor only; please contact for outdoor options. Price includes finish of your choice - natural, grey-wash, walnut, and black - on both versions. The thick weave fabric version (0421) includes thick weave fabric; the leather version (3021) includes an amazingly soft high-grade leather. Multiple fabric colors available. Multiple leather colors available.

Designer Inspiration: "The Suelo® Collection was inspired by my love for travel. So many places that inspire me have very minimal furniture, often built-in sofas with big comfy cushions, hammocks, raw natural wood, etc. The feel is low-key, simple, and comfortable. The wood isn't refined, it just IS. Functionality always plays into my designs as well, represented here by lower seating for a more intimate talking or lounging environment, and the platform wood extension detail on the sofa, which makes a great little table for your drink or cell phone. I envision this furniture used for indoor/outdoor spaces or any room that needs some comfort or relief. The Suelo® line reminds me of your own getaway - it has a natural, cool vibe and doesn't take itself too seriously. I imagine the sofa loaded up with pillows and some music playing in the background, of course." -Gretta Jones

The Bali Collection's lounge chair distills Bertu Home's outdoor seating to its simplest form — a solid sapele mahogany frame set low and angled for real lounging, finished for weather without losing its organic modern lines. Performance outdoor fabric and a commercial-grade exterior finish carry it from a covered patio to an open deck, and the frame comes in natural, grey-wash, dark walnut, or ebony. It is made to order, by hand, in Ohio, with COM always an option for a custom fabric.

Designer Inspiration: "The Bali Collection was created as a break at the end of the day. Its simple silhouette offers a low and relaxed feel. The back is at a perfect angle for lounging and relaxing but also comfortable and upright enough for a night of conversation. Life is busy and it's important to take time to unwind. The focus of this collection is to do just that - create a space that acts as a refuge from the busyness of the world. I've never been to Bali, but I've heard it's magical; A wonderful blend of culture, people, nature, activities, beautiful weather, and great food and nightlife. I want to recreate that with this Collection. Use it indoor or outdoor. I want this collection to remind you to slow down and enjoy life." -Gretta Jones
