Please note: this is character-rich solid wood, not a flawless machined block. It's prone to cracking — we love the look, but it's not for the person who wants a perfect square. Cracks up to ~1/2" wide can appear thanks to proper kiln drying, and most of that settling happens before it ships. No two are exactly alike.

Kiln dried. Every log is dried in our kiln to a specific moisture level — sometimes up to a month — to control major cracking, long-term moisture issues, and bugs. Eco friendly: we plant 50+ trees a year and practice salvage logging, giving new life to trees felled by wind, lightning, flood, or disease. Commercial grade: the durable finish is built to be used — tough enough for spills, kids, and hotel and hospitality settings.
Care & important information
1. Unpack immediately and leave the piece out of any packaging — real wood needs to breathe.
2. Wood naturally moves; expect settling and possibly new or larger cracks in the first few weeks as it acclimates.
3. Nylon glides underneath ease movement and let the wood breathe — most effective on hard flooring; on rugs or carpet, check the underside periodically.
