Solid black walnut meets a hand-welded steel X-base in this modern bench, its grain left honest under a matte finish three years in the refining. Bertu Home makes each one to order in Ohio, sized to pull up to a dining table or stand alone in an entry. It is an organic modern piece that keeps its footprint light and its material load-bearing.
