This Outdoor Stand Alone Modern Vita Bar is beautifully constructed from solid wood in Ohio, USA. This modern bar has soft glide sliding doors complete with inside shelves for glasses, plates, alcohol, or anything else. The Sapele wood is suitable for outdoor conditions and finished with a commercial grade exterior finish. Finish options include natural, grey-wash, dark walnut, and ebony. The slatted bar top is also topped with a thick piece of 1/2" glass. This isn't just for outdoor use! A wonderful piece of indoors as well. This modern bar is perfect for all your entertaining needs. There isn't anything in the market quite like it. Our furniture is solid wood, not veneer, and it requires special care. Please care for it! We recommend outdoor covers when pieces are not being used, especially in extreme weather. Outdoor covers are available through Bertu Home. Customer is responsible for normal care of this product.

Originating in 18th century Japan, shou sugi ban is a particularly striking method of preserving wood by charring it with fire. Traditionally, this practice is used with Japanese cedar in order to weatherproof it. The wood is burned until the surface is charred, and then coated with natural oil.

ECO FRIENDLY

In an effort to replenish the trees we use, we plant 50+ trees a year. In addition, we practice salvage logging. Where do we source these? Some of the trees fall naturally. Some have damage from severe wind, lightning, flood, disease, or other natural disturbance so they need to be cut and removed before they fall. Others are fresh cut because people want them off their land. Salvage logging may reduce erosion, reduce intensity of future wildfires, and slow buildup of pest insects.
